The voice was soft and melodious as it chanted the final words “Bring my love hence forth to me.”

As Genesis sent his black magic towards the warlock, he felt him self being pulled from his time and sent hurtling though space to a destination unknown. He came out on the other side and landed on a floor with a thug, an “oof” escaped his lips as the breath was knocked out of him. He rolled over on his back with a groan and looked around the room. It was now beginning to be filled with the light of a new day. A white piece of furniture sat in the room and it was loaded with colorful pillows. The rest of the room had wicker things with hanging plants and crystals on shelves. The warlock put his hand over his eyes and thanked the goddess that he was alive. But where? He wondered to himself.

“This is new.” The voice came from near his face. He opened his eyes and looked into the face of some animal with wrinkles all over its face and black shiny eyes.

“It is just as new to me as it is to you Goblin.” He muttered and sat up.

“Hey you big ox, I am not a goblin I am a pug and where did you come from?”

“Well Pug, I came from….”

“Mystique, the name is Mystique not pug. Wait a minute while I get Kat, she is going to want to hear this.”

He watched the thing called Mystique or pug run up stairs and he got to his feet and looked around. A few minutes later he heard the muttering from a sleepy soft voice that was familiar to his ears.

“Mystique what do you mean a package arrived for me? No delivery guy is going to be out this early it is just a little after seven.”

He stood proud as the woman with curls the color of bronze put her glasses on. When she saw him the scream that escaped her lips made him wince as hit his ears. She reached down took some kind of tool from a basket and brandished it over her head.

“Who the hell are you and how did you get in my house!? Kat screeched.

He bowed low at the waist. “I am Gareth, Warlock and protector of Herion. There is no need for your weapon I bear you no ill will.”

“Uh Gareth warlock of where ever, that does not explain how you got into my house.”

“You brought me here.” He smiled as he leaned against the wall and the woman stared at him in disbelief.

From closer to the floor Mystique laughed and said. “Well Kat I think your spell worked.”
