How to Ruin Halloween for the

Grim Reaper

Coming Soon from

Phaze

What better way to be in love, than to be dead together… Find you soul mate in the graveyard.

It seemed like only an instant before they popped up on a beach with the sun setting on the horizon. In her arms, he leaned his head against hers and tried to catch his breath. The way she traveled was indescribable. He felt the pull of the supernatural power she had hurtling them along through time and space. If he had to describe it to anyone he would say it was like warp speed except without the space ship. His breathlessness not only because of her power but because of his close quarters with Harmony as well. He was hesitant to let her go and when her finger stroked his back he knew she felt it to.

“Well that was some trip,” he murmured. “Where are we anyway?”

Harmon stepped away and rubbed her hands down her jeans. “We’re in Barbados, since you said you felt sorry about me losing my day off. I was sure you wouldn’t mind me catching a sunset.”

“Get the fuck out! Barbados, seriously?” Andy exclaimed. He looked around in amazement. The crystal blue water with the tint of reds and oranges from the setting sun reflecting of the water was a perfect picture. The palm trees swaying in the breeze and the hint of ripening fruit in the wind caused him to laugh out loud in wonder at the immeasurable beauty of the island. “I don’t believe it!”

Harmony had a smile on her face when he ruined back to face her. “Those are the perks of being a Reaper, no passport required.”

She sat on the sand and Andy followed suit, the fine almost white crystals was still warm from being kissed by the sun. They looked out over the sea at the sun going down behind the water.

“This is better than anything I ever thought about doing. I was going to take you bowling,” Andy teased.

Harmony gave a small laugh. “Lucky for me, I don’t think I have ever bowled.”
“How long have you been a Grim Reaper?”

Her sigh was almost wistful. “Too long, but I might be changing jobs soon. I think I might need a change.”

“How do you change jobs from being a person who collects souls?” Andy had to admit he was curious about her life or un-life so to speak.

“Think of it as a corporation. There is upper management, lower management and even book keepers and deadlines.” Harmony leaned back against the sand and closed her eyes. “They even offered me more vacation time at the new position.”

Looking at her lying there with her eyes closed and her full lips curved in a small smile. Andy couldn’t help but to lean over and capture her lips in a swift kiss. Harmony didn’t resist him. Instead she opened her mouth under the gentle friction of his kiss. His tongue delved into the sweetness of her mouth and he moaned in pleasure at her taste.

Harmony pulled away and turned her head. “I think we should stop.”

Andy took the invitation of exposed skin at her neck to kiss and nibble the sensitive spot and a low purr of pleasure came from her.

“Why should we stop, we have something here Harmony, why not follow it?” Andy whispered against her skin.

She faced him and he could see desire in her eyes mixed with uncertainty. “Because I have to take your soul, Andy, and I can’t let attraction to you get in the way of my job.”

“I still have one more chance to win my soul and even if I lose I want my last memory of being alive to be with you. Holding you and touching you. Just let go, Harmony, and feel.”
